COPENHAGEN BOARD - THE WOMEN OF TOMORROW
Sophia Burri (she/her)
Chairwoman
Sophia looks Danish, sounds Norwegian, and thinks Silicon Valley, but is Swiss. In fact, she helped build the first femella hub in Zurich and founded femella Cph when relocating there.
Next to leading the CPH team, Sophia is undertaking her MSc in International Business & Politics at CBS and works as a Junior Consultant at PA Consulting.
You might think this girl’s day must have more than 24 hours. Apparently so, because on top of all this, Sophia finds time to play tennis/padel, join running clubs, and explore all the hyggelig cafés in the city.
Julie Møllebjerg (she/her)
Vice-Chairwoman & Head of Community
A mix of boundless positive-energy and social-butterfly, Julie is our members’ go-to-person.
She is currently completing her MSc in Business Administration and Corporate Communication at CBS, alongside working as a marketing manager at a startup at the intersection of sports, tech, and data.
Speaking of sports - that’s a big part of Julie’s life too. Whether she’s playing or cheering from the sidelines, this girl is all in!
Louise Damgaard Rask (she/her)
Head of Event Coordination
If you can’t get enough of our events, you’re most probably a fan of Louise’s work!
Louise just graduated with a MSc in Public Health Science from the University of Aarhus and recently moved to Copenhagen. This is by no means the first big move for Louise, as she also spent an exchange semester in Brighton, England.
In her freetime, you’ll find Louise outside, wearing either running shoes or a hiking backpack. But as a health expert, she knows: that when calories are burned, some must also be consumed! Luckily, she is a true foodie, who loves to explore new cultures and cuisines.
Lea Mainz (she/her)
Head of Learn Events
If you want to attract and recruit talent from our femella community, you might want to plan a “learn” event with Lea.
To boost her own learning, Lea is completing a MSc in International Marketing & Management at CBS and applying her knowledge as a Student Assistant in Global Marketing.
If Danish weather allows it, Lea is out running or race-biking. But she also knows how to deal with bad weather. Her favourites? Escaping to Germany (her home country) or living her best granny life with hot chocolate, crocheting, and listening to crime podcasts.
Head of Connect Events
Eja Thornberg (she/her)
Eja’s work is at the heart of femella: creating spaces where women can connect, and thrive together.
Her international background spans a BSc in Development Studies at Lund University, an exchange at the University of York, and now a Master’s in Social Data Science at the University of Copenhagen. She’s soon starting a new role in product management at Mastercard.
The events Eja organizes reflect her love of community, from energizing meetups to cozy gatherings. Outside femella, she’s happiest in nature, whether skiing in Norway or exploring the outdoors.
Anna Larsena (she/her)
Head of Grow Events
Organizing our large-scale, public “grow event” is our power girl, Anna’s project.
Anna is undertaking her MSc in Business Administration & Data Science while working as a Student Assistant at Novo Nordisk. This fall semester, however, she is enjoying the beauty of Munich whilst on exchange at LMU.
Anna spends her spare time experimenting with new cooking recipes, travel destinations, and sports activities. Why limit yourself when you can do it all, right?
Iryna Yarmolenko (she/her)
Head of Finance
Woman in finance, 5 ft 3, Ukrainian, trustworthy - that’s our finance-sis Iryna!
After getting her engineering degree, Iryna started a MSc in Accounting, Strategy & Control at CBS whilst working as a Student Assistant at Novo Nordisk.
If you think that’s already impressive, here’s more: as a language enthusiast, Iryna speaks five languages and runs marathons in her free time. This girl is unstoppable!
Head of Partnerships
Louise Dalgaard Ottesen (she/her)
If you want to sponsor or collaborate with us, Louise is all ears!
As if a MSc in Digital Innovation & Management at the IT-University of Denmark was not nerdy enough, Louise also specialised in Blockchain. Right now, she is embarking on a new journey as a Consultant within Accenture’s delivery excellence team.
In her sparetime, Louise enjoys doing Yoga, Pilates, or strength training. She also loves to cook and bake plant-based food - and sometimes it even turns out well!
Janine Alder (she/her)
Head of Communications & Legal
Overseeing our communications, legal, and stakeholder activities, there’s nothing Janine can’t handle!
Her diverse skillset stems from work and study experiences across Switzerland, Denmark, the UK, and the US. At the moment, Janine is completing her MSc in Organisation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and is working as a Student Assistant at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping.
Although her hobbies vary from location to location, in Copenhagen, Janine is a social butterfly, gathering friends for get-togethers and running clubs - if for the running or the pastries afterward, one shall not know.
Caroline Dalsgaard (she/her)
Head of Marketing
If you love our social media, that's Caroline’s creative magic at work! As femella Copenhagen’s marketing lead, she’s building our online and offline community with her sharp eye for branding and engagement.
Caroline is graduating this summer with a Master’s in Brand and Communications Management from CBS. She also runs digital campaigns at Semler Gruppen for brands like Audi and Volkswagen.
Beyond marketing, Caroline is all about creativity, adventure, and great company. She’s into art, fashion, psychology, and staying active - whether it’s yoga, running, or spontaneous 50 km hikes!
THE COPENHAGEN OG’S
Olivia Danielsen (she/her)
Head of Marketing 2023-24
As one of femella’s OGs, Olivia has been part of the community since the very beginning, shaping our marketing strategy and helping build femella throughout its first year. From crafting our brand identity to creating engaging content, her work laid the foundation for the community we have today.
Though she stepped down from her position in December 2024, she remains an active committee member, continuing to support femella’s growth behind the scenes.
Oda Solend (she/her)
Head of Connect 2024-25
As one of femella’s originals, Oda has been part of the community since the very beginning, helping shape our connect events and laying the groundwork for the vibrant network we have today. From designing formats that made it easy to meet like-minded women to organizing gatherings that felt both professional and personal, her contributions throughout femella’s first year set the tone for connection and community.
