Sophia Burri
Chairwoman
Sophia looks Danish, sounds Norwegian, and thinks Silicon Valley, but is Swiss. In fact, she helped build the first femella hub in Zurich and founded femella Cph when relocating there.
Next to leading the CPH team, Sophia holds a MSc in International Business & Politics at CBS and works as a Management Consultant at Implement Consulting Group.
You might think this girl’s day must have more than 24 hours. Apparently so, because on top of all this, Sophia finds time to play tennis/padel, join running clubs, and explore all the hyggelig cafés in the city.
Janine Alder
Vice-Chairwoman & Director Marketing, Communication and Community
Overseeing our marketing, communications, and stakeholder activities, there’s nothing Janine can’t handle!
Her diverse skillset stems from work and study experiences across Switzerland, Denmark, the UK, and the US. Janine holds a MSc in Organisation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and is working as a Data Consultant at Devoteam.
Although her hobbies vary from location to location, in Copenhagen, Janine is a social butterfly, gathering friends for get-togethers and running clubs - if for the running or the pastries afterward, one shall not know.
Iryna Yarmolenko
Director Finance, Legal & Partnerships, Head of Finance
Woman in finance, 5 ft 3, Ukrainian, trustworthy - that’s our finance-sis Iryna!
After getting her engineering degree, Iryna completed a MSc in Accounting, Strategy & Control at CBS and is now working as a Graduate at Carlsberg.
If you think that’s already impressive, here’s more: as a language enthusiast, Iryna speaks five languages and runs marathons in her free time. This girl is unstoppable!
Maxima Gerken
Head of Community
Curious, social and always up for a good conversation, Maxima is all about bringing people together and creating a strong sense of community at femella Copenhagen.
She is currently studying Innovation & Business Development at Copenhagen Business School while working part-time at an early-stage health tech startup, where she is growing her interest in entrepreneurship. Before moving to Copenhagen, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Cologne.
When she is not meeting new people or diving into great conversations, you will find Maxima cycling, jogging, practicing yoga, listening to electronic music, getting creative with a new project or searching second-hand shops for hidden treasures.
Anabel Rabe
Head of Connect Events
As Head of Connect Events, Anabel is passionate about bringing people together and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, included and able to connect.
Originally from near Hamburg, she moved to Copenhagen to pursue a Master’s in Environment and Development at the University of Copenhagen. Having lived in places as different as Tokyo, the Peruvian Amazon and South Australia, Anabel brings a truly international perspective and a strong appreciation for community across cultures.
Outside femella, you will often find her swimming in Copenhagen’s canals, playing beach volleyball or slowing down with a good book.

Albane Mondamert
If you’re curious about partnerships or collaborations with femella, Albane is more than happy to chat.
Originally from France, Albane recently moved to Copenhagen after completing her Master’s in Strategy and Consulting at University Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne. Having studied and worked in Finland and Denmark during her studies, returning to the Nordics felt like a natural next step.
When she’s not working on her next project (she rarely sits still for long!), you’ll find Albane practicing yoga , cooking for friends , or meeting new people from all around the world.
Leslie Mejia
Head of Marketing
Leslie is the creative mind behind femella Copenhagen’s marketing, combining strategy, storytelling, and a passion for community building.
As Head of Marketing, she oversees social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and digital campaigns. From developing creative concepts and managing brand and influencer partnerships to promoting events and driving community growth, Leslie works across teams to strengthen femella’s presence and bring its mission to life.
With a Bachelor’s in Marketing from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Digital Business from Copenhagen Business School, she brings a strong foundation in consumer behaviour, digital strategy, and analytics.
Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring Copenhagen’s coffee spots, going thrifting, or getting lost in a good book or film.
Anne-Sofie Saabye Møller
Head of Grow Events
Anne-Sofie leads the vision and execution of femella’s annual Grow event, ensuring it inspires our community through thoughtful programming, strong speakers and formats that open doors to new ideas and meaningful connections.
With a Master’s degree in Engineering from DTU, she works as a consultant in the pharma industry and is currently adding to her skill set through part-time studies in Business Administration at CBS. This combined experience strengthens her perspective on how technical innovation and business strategy shape the world around us.
When she is not immersed in work or studies, you are likely to find Anne-Sofie staying active with running clubs, browsing flea markets for hidden gems or gathering friends around a table for great food and even better conversations.
Supporting our organization with all things legal and compliance, Kamilla brings curiosity and precision to everything she does. She’s currently studying law at the University of Copenhagen and spent a semester in Australia, where she explored common law up close. Alongside her studies, she works at a Danish law firm - strengthening her passion for corporate law and how legal frameworks shape modern businesses.
Having grown up near a forest, Kamilla has always felt most at home in nature. An adrenaline junkie at heart, she’s the first to say yes to a hike or a new adventure. When she slows down, you’ll find her diving into a new creative hobby (which changes… a lot).

Kinga Jaworek
Originally from Poland, Kinga has built an international path that has taken her far beyond home. After completing a Bachelor’s in Economics, she spent a pivotal exchange year in Budapest before moving to Denmark, where she finished a Master’s in International Business and Management in Odense. She now works as a Project Manager in a creative agency, thriving in environments where ideas develop quickly and collaboration drives results.
Curiosity has always guided Kinga. She loves travelling, discovering cultures and learning from every experience. A true sea lover, she has embraced Copenhagen life fully, whether that means cold dips, time in the sauna or seeking out the most delicious pastries the city has to offer.
Dania Dahwi
Head of Communications
Currently studying law at the University of Copenhagen, Dania brings curiosity and precision to everything she does. With a natural talent for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, she will help shape femella Copenhagen’s voice across every platform - from events and partnerships to website, app, and email communication.
As Head of Communications, Dania ensures that every story shared reflects femella’s mission with clarity and purpose, working closely with the Events and Partnerships teams to keep our narrative cohesive and engaging.
When she’s not deep in legal texts, you’ll find her sipping matcha, discovering new sushi spots, or exploring cozy corners of the city and always planning her next weekend getaway.

Olivia Danielsen (she/her)
Head of Marketing 2023-24
As one of femella’s OGs, Olivia has been part of the community since the very beginning, shaping our marketing strategy and helping build femella throughout its first year. From crafting our brand identity to creating engaging content, her work laid the foundation for the community we have today.
Though she stepped down from her position in December 2024, she remains an active committee member, continuing to support femella’s growth behind the scenes.
Louise Damgaard Rask

If you loved our events, chances are you were a fan of Louise’s work! As femella’s event coordinator, she played a key role in bringing our community together , especially through our kick-off events, which have always been some of the most community-driven moments in our journey. With her creativity and organization, Louise helped shape the welcoming atmosphere that defines femella today.

As one of femella’s originals, Oda has been part of the community since the very beginning, helping shape our connect events and laying the groundwork for the vibrant network we have today. From designing formats that made it easy to meet like-minded women to organizing gatherings that felt both professional and personal, her contributions throughout femella’s first year set the tone for connection and community.

A burst of positive energy and the ultimate social connector, Julie was one of femella’s driving forces from the very beginning, helping set up the board and welcome our very first members. As vice chair and members’ go-to person, she brought people together with her warmth and enthusiasm, creating the inclusive, high-spirited community we know today.

Anna organized our large-scale public “Grow Event.” SustainHER in 2025 bringing together 80+ attendees. She was also key essential in organizing the GROW event in 2026. With her drive and creativity, she ensured every gathering reflects the energy and spirit of our community.

As Director of Events and Head of Connect Events, Eja played a central role in bringing femella’s community together. She helped create spaces where women could connect, build relationships and thrive together, from energizing meetups to more intimate community gatherings.
