COPENHAGEN BOARD - THE WOMEN OF TOMORROW
Sophia Burri (she/her)
Chairwoman
Sophia looks Danish, sounds Norwegian, and thinks Silicon Valley, but is Swiss. In fact, she helped build the first femella hub in Zurich and founded femella Cph when relocating there.
Next to leading the CPH team, Sophia holds a MSc in International Business & Politics at CBS and works as a Management Consultant at Implement Consulting Group.
You might think this girl’s day must have more than 24 hours. Apparently so, because on top of all this, Sophia finds time to play tennis/padel, join running clubs, and explore all the hyggelig cafés in the city.
Janine Alder (she/her)
Vice-Chairwoman & Director Marketing, Communication and Community
Overseeing our marketing, communications, and stakeholder activities, there’s nothing Janine can’t handle!
Her diverse skillset stems from work and study experiences across Switzerland, Denmark, the UK, and the US. Janine holds a MSc in Organisation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and is working as a Data Consultant at Devoteam.
Although her hobbies vary from location to location, in Copenhagen, Janine is a social butterfly, gathering friends for get-togethers and running clubs - if for the running or the pastries afterward, one shall not know.
Anna Larsena (she/her)
Director Events & Head of Grow
Spearheading femella’s events team, Anna also organizes our large-scale public “Grow Event.” With her drive and creativity, she ensures every gathering reflects the energy and spirit of our community.
Anna is undertaking her MSc in Business Administration & Data Science while working as a Student Assistant at Novo Nordisk. This fall semester, however, she is enjoying the beauty of Munich whilst on exchange at LMU.
Anna spends her spare time experimenting with new cooking recipes, travel destinations, and sports activities. Why limit yourself when you can do it all, right?
Lea Mainz (she/her)
Head of Learn Events
If you want to attract and recruit talent from our femella community, you might want to plan a “learn” event with Lea.
To boost her own learning, Lea is completing a MSc in International Marketing & Management at CBS and applying her knowledge as a Student Assistant in Global Marketing.
If Danish weather allows it, Lea is out running or race-biking. But she also knows how to deal with bad weather. Her favourites? Escaping to Germany (her home country) or living her best granny life with hot chocolate, crocheting, and listening to crime podcasts.
Director Finance, Legal & Partnerships, Head of Finance
Iryna Yarmolenko (she/her)
Woman in finance, 5 ft 3, Ukrainian, trustworthy - that’s our finance-sis Iryna!
After getting her engineering degree, Iryna completed a MSc in Accounting, Strategy & Control at CBS and is now working as a Graduate at Carlsberg.
If you think that’s already impressive, here’s more: as a language enthusiast, Iryna speaks five languages and runs marathons in her free time. This girl is unstoppable!
Eja Thornberg (she/her)
Head of Connect Events
Eja’s work is at the heart of femella: creating spaces where women can connect, and thrive together.
Her international background spans a BSc in Development Studies at Lund University, an exchange at the University of York, and now a Master’s in Social Data Science at the University of Copenhagen. She’s soon starting a new role in product management at Mastercard.
The events Eja organizes reflect her love of community, from energizing meetups to cozy gatherings. Outside femella, she’s happiest in nature, whether skiing in Norway or exploring the outdoors.
Clara Preston (she/her)
Co-Head of Partnerships
If you want to sponsor or collaborate with us, Clara is all ears!
With a Master’s in Business and Development Studies from CBS, she now works as a Project Analyst at Abacus Medicine. Her journey has taken her from Denmark to England at just 15, and later to Germany during university —, giving her a truly global outlook.
In her spare time, you’ll find Clara out in nature, singing in her choir on Tuesdays, or experimenting in the kitchen by freestyling 2–3 recipes at once (though recreating the same dish twice is still a challenge!).
Co-Head of Partnerships
Albane Mondamert (she/her)
If you’re curious about partnerships or collaborations with femella, Albane is more than happy to chat.
Originally from France, Albane recently moved to Copenhagen after completing her Master’s in Strategy and Consulting at University Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne. Having studied and worked in Finland and Denmark during her studies, returning to the Nordics felt like a natural next step.
When she’s not working on her next project (she rarely sits still for long!), you’ll find Albane practicing yoga , cooking for friends , or meeting new people from all around the world.
Leslie Mejia (she/her)
Head of Marketing
If you love our social media, that's Leslie’s creative magic at work!
Born and raised in sunny San Diego with proud Mexican-American roots, Leslie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Diego State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration & Digital Business at Copenhagen Business School.
When she’s not studying or crafting the next big marketing idea, you’ll find Leslie diving into a good book, second-hand shopping, discovering new films, or wandering through Copenhagen in search of cozy coffee spots.
Caroline Dalsgaard (she/her)
Head of Marketing
If you love our social media, that's Caroline’s creative magic at work! As femella Copenhagen’s marketing lead, she’s building our online and offline community with her sharp eye for branding and engagement.
Caroline is graduating this summer with a Master’s in Brand and Communications Management from CBS. She also runs digital campaigns at Semler Gruppen for brands like Audi and Volkswagen.
Beyond marketing, Caroline is all about creativity, adventure, and great company. She’s into art, fashion, psychology, and staying active - whether it’s yoga, running, or spontaneous 50 km hikes!

Louise Damgaard Rask (she/her)
Head of Event Coordination 2024-25

With her creativity and organization, Louise helped shape the welcoming atmosphere that defines femella today.
Oda Solend (she/her)
Head of Connect 2024-25
As one of femella’s originals, Oda has been part of the community since the very beginning, helping shape our connect events and laying the groundwork for the vibrant network we have today. From designing formats that made it easy to meet like-minded women to organizing gatherings that felt both professional and personal, her contributions throughout femella’s first year set the tone for connection and community.
Louise Dalgaard Ottesen (she/her)
Head of Partnerships
2024-25
Spearheading femella’s partnerships team, Louise led collaborations and sponsorship outreach, helping expand our network and open doors for new opportunities. She brought both curiosity and forward-thinking ideas to femella.
Julie Møllebjerg (she/her)
Vice-Chair and Head of Community Connect 2023-25
A burst of positive energy and the ultimate social connector, Julie was one of femella’s driving forces from the very beginning, helping set up the board and welcome our very first members. As vice chair and members’ go-to person, she brought people together with her warmth and enthusiasm, creating the inclusive, high-spirited community we know today.
