Meet our Board - The Women of Tomorrow

Joanne Rimbeaux - (she/her)

Chairwoman & President

Together with the femella Zurich board Joanne drives the strategy and vision for femella in Zurich. As Chairwoman, she represents femella Zurich towards media & press relations and oversees all operations. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Finance at the University of St. Gallen while working in Group Strategy at Zurich Insurance. Born and raised in Zurich, Joanne speaks German, English, and French. In her free time, she enjoys working on personal projects, doing BodyPump, and spending quality time with her family.

Laïla Bühler- (she/her)

Head of Finance & Director FLP

Laïla is from Zurich and oversees femella's financial matters. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, specialising in Financial Mathematics. She is currently working as an Internal Auditor for the Risk Unit at Zürcher Kantonalbank. Beyond working in Finance, she has a passion for pilates and is a gourmet through and through.

Lou Bucher - (she/her)

Head of Legal & Director of Events

Lou is from Lucerne and is responsible for the coordination of femella’s events and sponsorships while also leading all legal affairs for femella Zurich. She is currently completing her MLaw at UZH, where she also completed her Bachelor's degree. Besides her studies, she works at a chair for criminal and medical law at the university. In her free time, she loves cooking, working out and discovering cute coffee places in Zurich.

Maeva Hämmerle - (she/her)

Co-Head of Learn Events

Maeva is based in Zurich and co-leads femella’s Learn Events, bringing her curiosity and creativity to every project. She holds a BA in Design Management, International from HSLU and is passionate about applying design to improve processes in healthcare and beyond. At femella, Maeva uses her creativity to create learning formats that are thoughtful, engaging, and empowering. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, going on long walks, and discovering cozy cafés around the city.

Ana co-curates femella’s learn sequence alongside Maeva. She holds a BSc and MSc in Interdisciplinary Sciences from ETH Zurich. Currently, she is advancing her scientific career and pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry. Her interests lie in biopharmaceutical research, where she aims to contribute to innovative healthcare solutions and dive into Switzerland’s entrepreneurial landscape. Before joining femella, Ana supported women in STEM at ETH Zurich, organising events that connected and empowered her peers. She now brings that same passion to femella, blending her love for learning with a commitment to building community. Ana enjoys exploring Zurich’s cultural and art scene, practising pilates, and spending time with friends.

Ana Kitanovic - (she/her)

Nina is taking on the lead on organizing our upcoming Grow events. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and brings a wealth of hands-on experience in marketing and branding, as well as in event concept development and execution from previous roles at Lindt & Sprüngli and Barney & Baxter. She is currently part of the event and marketing team at Bucherer in Switzerland. In her free time, Nina enjoys sports followed by a mandatory stop at a coffee shop. She’s thrilled to shape our Grow Event 2026 with fresh ideas and great energy.

Cecilia Reber - (she/her)

Head of Connect Events

Cecilia leads femella Zurich’s Connect pillar, focusing on creating spaces where femella members can truly connect. Her background in Design Management helps her design not just events, but meaningful experiences that are engaging, thoughtful, and aimed at bringing the women of femella closer together. When she’s not designing experiences for our community, she enjoys dancing, spending time with loved ones, and going on adventures.

Michelle Senn - (she/her)

Co-Head of Partnerships

Meet Michelle, who, alongside Pauline, serves as Co-Head of Partnerships at femella Zurich. Currently enrolled at the University of St. Gallen, she is working towards her bachelor's degree in Law and Economics (BLE). Besides studying she contributes to a foundation dedicated to fostering the interplay between law and economics, serves as a bartender in a local bar, and leads engaging workshops. In her personal life, Michelle cherishes the moments spent with friends and is passionate about staying active, particularly through pilates.

Pauline Jelk - (she/her)

Co-Head of Partnerships

Pauline co-leads femella Zurich’s Partnerships alongside Michelle, appreciating the opportunity to grow the community through meaningful collaborations. She studies Communications and Media Studies at the University of Zurich, with a particular interest in strategic communication. Outside of studying, she spends most of her free time out on a run. She founded CoffeeRun, a Zurich-based run club built around bringing people together through shared movement. 

Lara Borner - (she/her)

Head of Communication & Director MCC

Lara is from Frauenfeld and is responsible for Communications at femella Zurich. She holds a BA in International Affairs from the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and spent her exchange semester in Madrid. Following her studies, she has a keen interest in international relations, cultures, foreign languages, politics, and communications. She is currently working as an academic intern at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO in Bern and pursuing her Master’s. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, doing sports, being active, and meeting up with friends.

Seraphine Hirs - (she/her)

Head of Marketing

Seraphine is from Zurich and leads the marketing efforts at femella Zurich. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management at EHL and is currently gaining valuable experience as a Customer Success Intern. Beyond her professional pursuits, Seraphine loves baking, being creative with artistic projects, and hitting the slopes for skiing and snowboarding in winter, a passion she has also shared as a ski instructor. She enjoys going on fun trips and immersing herself in romantasy books, finding them the perfect escape after a busy day.

Annina Blumer - (she/her)

Head of Community

Annina is based in Zurich and plays a key role in growing and nurturing the femella community. She’s passionate about creating spaces where women feel connected, supported, and inspired. With a background in Banking & Finance from Bayes and an LLM from Bocconi, she now works at Assarée, where she curates community experiences and explores the world of impact investing. She believes that bringing people together is one of the most powerful tools for change. Outside of work, Annina is also developing her own student-focused startup and enjoys Pilates, baking, and spending time with friends..
