Chiara Paris - (she/her)
Co-Chairwoman
As Global Co-Chairwoman at femella, Chiara helps lead the organization’s global strategy, supports the growth of hubs, and drives initiatives that empower women around the world. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations in Italy, including two Erasmus experiences in Poland and Ireland. Between her Bachelor’s and Master’s, she took a gap year in Australia, exploring new cultures and perspectives. She is now pursuing a Master’s in International Business and Politics at CBS in Copenhagen.
Beyond her work at femella, Chiara loves traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and listening to the stories that inspire and connect people. She is passionate about creating opportunities for women and building a global community where everyone can grow, lead, and support each other.
Roberta Giammarino - (she/her)
Co-Chairwoman
As Global Chairwoman of femella Global, Roberta leads the organization’s strategy and keeps all hubs aligned. She works closely with Chiara Paris to drive expansion and support the growth of the femella community worldwide.
Originally from Italy, Roberta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Rome and later moved to Denmark to pursue her Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting. She has been based there for over three years and currently works as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, where she focuses on driving outsourcing projects .
When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her at the gym trying to balance out all the pasta she definitely still eats, playing around with beauty and makeup, or relaxing with books, series, or a bit too much scrolling on social media.
Alyssia Matter - (she/her)
President and Co-founder
As President of femella Global, Alyssia leads strategic direction and stakeholder engagement, ensuring sustainable growth and alignment across the organization. She previously served 2.5 years as Chairwoman of femella Global, driving expansion and organizational development, and 1.5 years as Chairwoman of femella Zürich, where she built a strong local presence and partnerships.
Alongside femella, she is in her final year of medical school at the University of Zürich and is a lieutenant in the Swiss Army. She stays active through soccer and cycling.
Antonia Schmidt - (she/her)
Co-Founder
Antonia is a co-founder, has been with femella since the very beginning and has covered many different roles: Head of legal and vice-chair, head of connect and co-head partnerships. Currently a- full-time trainee lawyer she is supporting femella as an advising co-founder, especially focussing on legal issues and partnership matters to support the whole femella organization.
Anna Somm - (she/her)
Co-Founder
Anna coordinates operations at femella, focusing on business development and marketing. She is passionate about launching initiatives that make a positive and sustainable impact, whereby she is particularly passionate about female empowerment. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs in Switzerland and is now studying Business in London.
Outside of work, Anna loves staying active and traveling, exploring the world’s diverse cultures and landscapes.
Ria Nicole Bhalla - (she/her)
Director of Finance, Legal & Partnerships & Head of Finance
As Global Head of Finance at femella, Ria manages budgeting and financial planning together with teams across the organisation’s global hubs. She is from in Copenhagen and recently completed her MSc in Business Law at Copenhagen Business School.
With Indian roots and a year spent abroad working with Danish-Indian relations, she is interested in how sustainability and ESG play out across different markets.
Outside of femella, Ria is happiest when exploring a new city, baking something she probably did not need to make, or working through a particularly stubborn sudoku puzzle.

Flavia Gericke - (she/her)
Head of Expansion
Flavia is from Zurich and serves as femella’s Head of Exapansion where she leads the corresponding teams and aligns closely with the hubs. She recently completed her medical studies at UZH and ETH Zurich and is now a medical doctor. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym or watching TV shows with her cat.
Michèle Steiger - (she/her)
Head of Legal
Michèle is from Zurich and is responsible for femella’s legal structure. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Law at UZH and previously completed a semester abroad in Istanbul. Besides her studies, Michèle takes on designing projects at ETH juniors, tutors students in English and works as a ski instructor. In her free time she likes to go on bike rides, lake swims and enjoys iced lattes with friends.
Justine Humm - (she/her)
Director & Head of Event
Justine serves femella as Director of Events with a background in luxury hospitality and high-end event management. She believes that well-crafted experiences have the power to connect and inspire – and has spent her career bringing exactly that to life.
As the Founder & Managing Director of THE HUMM AGENCY, a boutique event agency based in Zürich, she has built her career around creating meaningful moments for clients across industries. Her path has taken her through Gübelin, the Four Seasons Hong Kong, Eleven Madison Park in New York City, and Park Hotel Vitznau.
Outside of work, Justine is driven by the same curiosity that shapes her professional life: always seeking out new places, perspectives, and people. She is passionate about building communities where ambition meets authenticity, which is exactly why femella’s mission resonates strongly with her.

Head of Business Development
Edwina Al-Khalil - (she/her)
Director & Head of Marketing
Edwina is the Head of Marketing and Director of MarComms at femella Global. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication from Sweden and is currently working in corporate communications in Vienna.
With a strong focus on optimizing digital platforms, she is passionate about storytelling and strategic communication. Her international experience, including several exchange semesters abroad, has fostered a deep interest in different cultures, languages, and travel.
Alexandra Schindler - (she/her)
Head of Brand
Alexandra is from Zurich and serves as femella Global’s Head of Brand. She joined femella Zürich in 2023 to support the Marketing & Communications team.
Alexandra is currently wrapping up her Master of Law at the University of Zurich and is spending a semester abroad in Amsterdam. In her free time, you’ll likely find her with family and friends, exploring the outdoors with her dog, or brainstorming new content ideas for femella.
Bianca Maria Galante - (she/her)
Head of Communications and Press
Bianca has a bachelors in Political Science and a Masters in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs, and is currently pursuing a two-year Masters in International Relations in Italy. She currently holds the position of Head of Communications and Press for the Global team, allowing her to apply her expertise in international relations and public affairs while developing her network with inspirational women. She is very passionate about women’s rights and is pursuing a career in International Security, while currently working as a research intern.
Şule Topak- (she/her)
Head of Social Media
As Global Head of Social Media at femella, Şule leads the organization’s digital strategy and global brand presence. Originally from Turkey and now based in Copenhagen, she brings over seven years of marketing and brand strategy experience within the pharmaceutical industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and a Double Major Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from her studies in Istanbul. Şule currently serves as a Board Member of TEID (Turkish Expats in Denmark) and is an active member of her local book club. Beyond her professional work, she is a passionate advocate for social impact, having co-founded a civil society initiative and led projects supporting animal welfare and children in need.
