femella x the UN

  • Marmorvej 51, 2100 København, Denmark (map)

Join us for an afternoon of learning and conversation as we welcome representatives from UNFPA and UN Women for a presentation and discussion of this year’s State of World Population report!

The report explores reproductive agency as a fundamental human right and challenges the simplified narrative of a world divided into “too many” children in some regions and “too few” in others. Across countries and communities, women and couples face both unplanned pregnancies and the pain of not being able to have the children they want. At the centre of it all lies the right to decide if, when and how to have children - or not

Agenda:
13:30 – Registration (please remember photo ID)
13::45 – 14:45 – UNFPA presentation
14:45 – 15:00 – Break
15:00 – 16:00 – UN Women presentation
16:00 – Networking (at the UN)

During the event, you’ll gain insight into the report’s key findings and have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from the UN through presentations and Q&A sessions. The afternoon is designed as a space for learning, reflection and open dialogue around reproductive rights, population dynamics and global inequality.

✊ We’re looking forward to learning together and engaging in this important conversation on reproductive agency and global rights.

📌 Reminder: Please bring a valid photo ID for entry.
