We’re launching femella Book Club at Rascal Wine Bar with an afternoon dedicated to books, ideas, conversation, and the kind of discussions that continue long after you leave the table 🍷

For our first chapter, we’re taking inspiration from Lessons in Chemistry and diving into themes of ambition, power, gender, autonomy, and the expectations placed on women.

And before you panic about unfinished reading lists, you do not need to have read the book or watched the series to join. We’ll bring the themes to the table and let the conversation take it from there 💭

With a glass of wine or kombucha and some snacks included, we’ll get into guided conversations and also dream up what comes next. Which books should make the femella reading list? What do you actually want from a book club? Which conversations do we need more of?
